Electrophoretic and Chromatographic Methods for Assessing Protein Purity

Abstract

Electrophoretic methods are widely used in protein science to determine sample purity, molecular weight, and sometime isoelectric point. In this chapter we shall review the most commonly used electrophoretic methods that are applied to proteins.
