How to set up a Bilayer System

  • Osvaldo Alvarez

Abstract

In this chapter I explain how to set up a planar bilayer system. The aim is to guide investigators taking their initial steps in the bilayer field in making their first setup. The intention is to give practical guidance rather than a thorough theoretical treatment of the different subjects. I assume that the reader has minimal knowledge of electronics and is planning to build the equipment.
