QC Field Testing

  • James J. O’Brien

The quality control (QC) Program usually includes field testing. Traditionally, test requirements are described in the specification wherever (and whenever) the design engineer (or architect) chooses. It is recommended that the quality assurance (QA) procedures call for an index of all test requirements (or the requirements themselves) to be listed in Division 1 of the specifications (01400 Quality Control). If this has not been done during the design phase, the QC group must set up an inspection plan.
