This lecture constitutes an attack on what I believe is the Achilles’ heel of the more “established” currents in contemporary philosophy of science, in particular those associated, linked, or based on a false philosophy of quantum physics. My thesis is based mainly on the Einsteinian view of physics and philosophy and, in particular, on Einstein’s hope for the ultimate achievement of modern unified field theory. Indeed, the recent advance of some unified field theories (q.v. the Introduction and Lecture IX), gives the strongest support to the (presently unpopular) deterministic Einsteinian view of physics.
