Mechanisms of the Experimentally Observed Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields

  • A. S. Presman

The phrase “mechanism of the biological action of a particular factor” ususally means the prime cause of the reaction of the biological object to the factor. The elucidation of the mechanism of the biological effect is usually taken to mean the establishment of a cause-and-effect relationship between the factor and the reaction, to determine the systems or structures involved in this reaction, and to discover the processes responsible for the reaction.
