Invariably, in applications for liquid-hydrogen and-helium temperatures, it is necessary to have much more heat removal capacity at a higher temperature, such as that of liquid nitrogen. This is true in helium or hydrogen liquefiers, refrigerators for various electronic devices, cryopumping, and storage dewars. The reasons for this requirement are different in different devices, but it is almost always there.
