Recent Advances in Knowledge of the Chemical Composition of Tobacco Smoke

Abstract

Since the last comprehensive report on the chemical composition of tobacco and tobacco smoke was published by R. L. Stedman in 1968, more than 300 additional constituents have been identified, bringing the total number of known compounds in tobacco smoke to more than 1150.
