Problems of the Charge Collection in Laser Multiphoton Ionization Experiments

The purpose of this work is to analyze the problems that occur in the charge collection process, in a charge density range typical of the most of the multiphoton ionization (MPI) experiments (108 ÷1012 el/cm3) performed with pulsed lasers.
