Monopole Catalysis: An Overview

Abstract

A summary of the talks presented in the topical workshop on monopole catalysis at this conference is given. We place special emphasis on the conservation laws which determine the allowed monopole-fermion interactions and on catalysis as a probe of the structure of a grand unified theory.
