Abstract

The theory of structure analysis in the sense that has been used throughout this book has progressed considerably during these recent years. The computing machines that are being used for structure determination by diffraction methods will soon make possible the solution of a series of problems of method which as yet remain unsolved. The task of finding the structure may be assigned to the machine.
