Interaction Between Industry and the Basic Researcher in the University During Vaccine Development

Generalizations about the relationship between the academic basic researcher and the pharmaceutical industry are difficult to make and as the university-based researcher on the panel I can only present a personal view. The relationship will vary from country to country so attitudes in the U.K. may not be coincident with those elsewhere.
