Abstract

Although vocational services are vital to the successful rehabilitation of clients in drug treatment, most programs do not have comprehensive on-site vocational rehabilitation services. This necessitates reliance on outside agencies for these services. While most traditional vocational rehabilitation agencies have accepted referrals from drug treatment programs on a case-by-case basis, they have been reluctant to provide services to the ex-addict on a large scale.
