It is time to consider microissues of research in a perspective of larger macroissues. When such a larger perspective is taken, a problem with the physical attractiveness research becomes apparent. This problem is that knowledge about physical attractiveness remains scattered and fragmented after two decades of scientific query. Consequently, in an attempt to improve the situation, this final chapter discusses the relevance of science and theory for the study of physical attractiveness phenomena.
