Dauphiné-Twin Domain Configurations in Quartz and Aluminum Phosphate

Abstract

The properties of Dauphiné-twin domain configurations in quartz and aluminum phosphate are reviewed. Also, the superspace symmetry of the incommensurate phases of quartz and aluminum phosphate is determined, and some consequences of the superspace symmetry are noted.
