Investigations have been carried out concerning the relationships between the composition, heterogeneous structure, and various physicochemical composition of glasses in one of the sections (A) in the system SiO2-B2O3-Al2O3-ZnO-Na2O, intersecting the two immiscibility regions found in it [1], Glasses in this section have the following chemical composition: (69-x)SiO2 22B2O3-xAl2O3·4ZnO·5Na2O (x = 0–8), and are close to a number of commercial and previously investigated sodium borosilicate glasses.
