Building Sites and Foundations

Abstract

The building site is subject to design manipulation in a limited way. Site boundaries constitute the most fixed set of conditions. In addition, the nature of adjacent properties and other boundary conditions provide major constraints. Surface contours and existing site landscaping may be altered to some degree, but must conform to site drainage, erosion, zoning, and environmental impact considerations on a general neighborhood or regional basis.
