Abstract

Depending on the sorbability of the components of the mixture on a given sorbent, three limiting cases of sorption dynamics can be encountered: 1) all the components of the mixture of substances possess the same sorbability; 2) all the components of the mixture possess different sorbabilities, but they are sorbed according to the linear isotherm type (independent sorption of each component); 3) all the components of the mixture possess different sorbabilities, butthey are absorbed according to the type of mutually dependent sorption (the sorption of each component depends on the concentration of the other components of the mixture).
