Abstract
A Perkin-Elmer Differential Scanning Calorimeter Model 1B (DSC) has been described as useful for many varied thermal measurements,(1) including measurement of the purity of organic compounds.(2) Calculation of purities from the experimental data by the suggested method was not completely satisfactory. A program was undertaken, therefore, to better define the applicability of the method and its accuracy. A computer program has also been developed to aid the calculations.
