Formwork for Concrete
One of the important uses of lumber and structural plywood is one in which the wood does not even remain as a part of the completed structure. Plywood and lumber used as concrete formwork are, of course, stripped (removed) after the concrete hardens. Wood formwork can be used to make a simple concrete wall or column or a complex shell roof.
