Semihard Interactions and Inelastic Cross Section in High Energy Hadronic Collisions

Abstract

The contribution of seinihard interactions to the inelastic hadronic cross section is discussed in the framework of the QCD parton model. The role played by multiple parton collisions is emphasized.
