Cultural and Serologic Procedures for Mycoplasmas in Tissue Culture

Abstract

Mycoplasmes in cell cultures, or indeed elsewhere, may be detected by both cultural and non-cultural methods (Table 1). The former methods, discussed on several occasions (1–7), are reviewed in this communication.
