Abstract
In this chapter P denotes a Markov chain all of whose states are transient—that is, a transient chain with no absorbing states. Every such chain has at least one (strictly) positive superregular measure, as we saw in Chapter 5; for example, the sum of 2−i times the ith row of N is such a measure.
