Bartlett S Function; Estimating Likelihood Ratios Needed for an Experiment
We examine in this chapter some miscellaneous tools. If our distribution function is very far from a normal distribution, estimates can be biased, and also it is sometimes hard to interpret the non-gaussian errors that result. The use of the Bartlett S function is a technique to introduce new variables to make the distribution function closer to normal.
