General Hartogs Figures. The subject of this chapter is the continuation of holomorphic functions. We consider domains in ℂ n , for n ≥ 2. A typical example is the Euclidean Hartogs figure (P n , H), where P n = P n (0, 1) is the unit polydisk, and
$$ H = \left\{ {z \in {P^n}:\left| {{z_1}} \right| > {q_1}\;or\;\left| {{z_{\nu }}} \right| < q{}_{\nu }\;for\;\nu = 2, \ldots, n} \right\}. $$
