Abstract

The observations in autopsy of patients with well functioned longterm kidney transplantation after total nephrectomia, which showed a smaller increase of the kidney wet weights as compared to those of patients after unilateral nephrectomia, induced us to examine whether the interruption of the lymph circulation alone besides surgical, nervous, therapeutical and other conditions influences the kidney wet weights.
