Identification of a Small Molecular Weight Inhibitor of the Oxalate Precipitation
After removal of mucoproteins from urine, a high level of promoter activity of calcium oxalate precipitation was found in the remaining supernatant. This observation may be explained by the presence of an inhibitor in whole urine which was removed during the purification process. This paper attempts to describe some of the characteristics of this inhibitor.
