Novel Adaptive Control Schemes for Peripheral Milling
This work is concerned with the parameter adaptive control for regulating the cutting force in peripheral milling under varying cutting conditions. The novel adaptive scheme proposed earlier is applied to this problem. The adaptive controller proposed can yield better performance even under non-ideal conditions. This is because this scheme retains higher (or required) degree of stability even in the presence of noise or disturbances.
