Clean Window Design for Optical Access

Abstract

A computational fluid dynamic program has been used to develop a compact air purged clean window design for optical access by a laser beam to the particle laden gases above a fluidised bed. The window worked well above a bed of particles of size 5 to 350 micrometres.
