One of the fundamental features of a fluid system, which conveys considerable Information on the health of that system, is the measure of the quantity of fluid circulating. Leakage, performance, temperature all have an effect on the fluid, and if the monitoring of the fluid is sufficiently accurate then early indications of malfunction can be detected.
