Assessment of Symptom Limit Value in Vibration Condition Monitoring

Summary

Several techniques of vibration symptom limit value assessment, which follow from Neyman-Pearson formula, are introduced and assessed based on real diagnostic data. It results that symptom reliability technique and also technique based on Pareto distribution of symptom are best suited for plant/machines condition data.
