Abstract

The aim of these notes is to provide a general view of the status of the violation of PC in the middle of 1988 from both the experimental and the theoretical sides. We concentrate our comparison between theory and experiment on the minimal standard model and we develop the necessary material for such a comparison emphasizing the defects of both theory and experiment.
