Part of the Ettore Majorana International Science Series book series (EMISS, volume 17)

This experiment is proposed by a collaboration Orsay (CSNSM)-CERN. Its aim and basic principle are here only very briefly recalled since many details about them may be found in the proposal PSCC/81-84, PSCC/p52: The emphasis is put on some special aspects, i.e. mainly the method of measurement and the expected accuracy.
