A Five Pole Fit to the Proton and Neutron Electromagnetic form Factors and its Implications for the Reaction n̄n→e+e-

We have attempted a five pole fit1 to existing data on the electromagnetic form factors of the proton and the neutron, in the space-like and in the time-like regions. The aim of this work is to prepare an analysis for the new data that will be produced at LEAR and to investigate the feasibility of a neutron form factor measurement in the time-like region.
