Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy of Celluose and Cellulose Derivatives

  • Robert T. O’Connor
Part of the Developments in Applied Spectroscopy book series (DAIS, volume 5)

No interest was taken in the application of infrared absorption spectroscopy to natural cotton cellulose until recently, with the development of the development of the KBr-disk technique and its applications to the measurement of cellulose, This technique, the properties and chemical modification of a native Deltapine cotton, resin treatment, and T Frustrated Multiple Internal Reflectance spectra are discussed.
