A New Molybdenum-Blue Method for Silicon in Steel
A new rapid spectrophotometric molybdenum-blue method accurate to ±0.001% silicon in steel is described. A single determination may be carried out in fifteen minutes or less, directly in the spectrophotometric tube, and the method is suited for the routine analysis of a large number of samples.
