Abstract

When a mission is to be flown from one time zone to another, it is important that the time difFerence be established early on in the planning of the mxission. All times recorded must note where they relate to. A timezone map of the world gives some indication what the time differences will be between various locations, but nations alter times twice a year, not always on the same day worldwide. During a preflight assessment, the time difference can be established and, if it is early Spring or Fall, inquiry should be made as to whether the clocks will change during the next few days.
