Abstract

Generally speaking, the polarography of alicyclic compounds is a little-exploited field to which only a limited number of papers have been devoted so far. In these systems the electroactive group either can be situated in the side chain, or be attached directly to the cyclic system and form a part of it. The structural effects that can exert an influence on the electroactive group can be caused either by a substituent in the cyclic system or by the ring size and the stereochemistry of the system.
