Special Features of Tritium as a Tracer in Industrial Research

  • V. P. Guinn

Abstract

Tritium is a rather special radioisotope in a number of ways. Some of its unique features make it especially attractive for certain types of tracer applications; some of its characteristics also pose certain problems. In this paper the special features of tritium will be considered, with attention concentrated on those features that are involved in very-large-scale tracer studies.
