Reduction of the Erosive Wear of Refractory Compounds in Plasma Streams by Means of Thermochemical Protection
The efficacy of using thermochemical protection to reduce the corrosive-erosive wear of refractory compounds in high-temperature streams is discussed. A method of producing porous materials is described. An apparatus for determining the resistance of materials in plasma flows has been developed. Concentration profiles at the porous wall of a channel when CO2 is blown into a stream of air are given.
