Abstract

This chapter discusses the use of graphical output facilities, particularly a programmable microfilm recorder, in an open-shop, scientific computing establishment. Many of the examples which are presented are drawn from the normal course of research at the U.K.A.E.A. Culham Laboratory, and illustrate the particular value of convenient graphical output to a research scientist.
