Chairman’s concluding remarks

  • A. I. Llewelyn

This conference has been of particular interest to those who attended the first one in 1977. The difference has been remarked upon and is indeed quite profound. At the first conference one was talking in a very diffuse way about possibilities and there was, I recall, much heated debate about the need. Now the need is obvious and one is dealing with specific problems and experience in the field of education and industrial training. People are actually doing what was previously speculation and that represents a tremendous advance.
