Abstract

I will first consider Western societies in isolation from the rest of the world. Later I will drop this assumption but, for the moment, I wish to identify those changes that are most likely to occur if Western societies develop in their own ways. These changes can possibly be best handled under the headings of:
  1. 1.

    work

  2. 2.

    education

  3. 3.

    family

  4. 4.

    leisure1
