Radical Substitution Reactions

Hydrogen Atom. A large amount of data on reactions of the hydrogen atom has been obtained in radiochemical studies. In almost all cases, absolute constants have been calculated by a competing-reaction method. The calculation is based on the following value of the reaction rate constant:
$$H\cdot + {O_2} \to {\text{ }}H{O_2}\cdot{\text{ }}k{\text{ }} = {\text{ }}2\cdot{10^{10}}{\text{ }}(at{\text{ }}room{\text{ }}temperature)$$
