Semiclassical Non-Perturbative Effects in Quantum Field Theories

Arguing from analogy with ordinary integrals we show how to handle Green’s functions with asymptotic expansions which are not Borel summable. The method takes care of the singularities of the Borel transform due to exact or approximate solutions of the classical equations of motion.
