The investigation of the ultrasonic cleaning mechanism by means of high-speed motion pictures makes it possible to reproduce rather clearly the pattern of the breakdown of surface films in a sound field, but does not give any quantitative laws characterizing the erosive efficiency of a sound field in a liquid.
