Switching in a Planar Diode
We shall now consider the transient processes which accompany various forms of the switching of a diode from the forward to the reverse direction. As in Chap. I, we shall use a model diode with a planar p-n junction and a semi-infinite n-type base; we shall simply call such a structure a planar diode.
