Description and Application of a Personal Dosimeter for Measuring Exposure to Natural Ultraviolet Radiation
Personal doses of natural UVR have been measured using the polymer film, polysulphone. Applications of personal UVR dosimetry have included studies of UVR exposure to people in different environments, the relationship of UVR and drug photosensitivity of the skin, and the measurement of the anatomical distribution of solar UVR, particularly on the face.
