NADH diaphorase is present in the membrane of erythrocytes. Its most potent electron acceptor is ferricyanide, which was used to measure enzymatic activity, (Mishra and Passow, J. Membrane Biol. 1, 214–224, 1969; Zamudio et al, Arch. Biochem. Bioph. 129, 336–345, 1969).
