The Effect of Sethoxydim on the NAD(P)H Oxidation Associated with Isolated Plasmalemma Vesicles

Abstract

Plasmalemma enriched vesicles of two day old maize roots were purified using differential and discontinuous sucrose gradient centrifugation according to the technique described by De Michelis and Spanswick, (1986). The 30 – 40 % interface was enriched in K+-stimulated, vanadatesensitive, nitrate-insensitive and azide-insensitive ATPase activity.
