Summary of Session II: Biosynthesis and Metabolism of Juvenile Hormone
The papers contained in this section focus on two major questions concerning the juvenile hormones (JH). How does the titer of JH vary, both qualitatively and quantitatively during the life stages of representative insect species? By what pathway or pathways and from what precursors are the JHs biosynthesized? The article by Trautmann et al. was not presented at the Conference but is included here by special arrangement.
